Portable Disowns VeryDarkMan’s Diss Track Against Mercy Chinwo Amid Defamation Row

A bitter feud has broken out after social media critic VeryDarkMan claimed singer Portable would feature in a diss track targeting gospel artist Mercy Chinwo. However, Portable has swiftly debunked the claim, denying any involvement in the project.

The controversy stems from Mercy Chinwo’s ₦1.1 billion defamation lawsuit against VeryDarkMan. In response, VeryDarkMan vowed to release a diss track, allegedly featuring Portable.

Portable has distanced himself from the drama, warning VeryDarkMan to halt his online defamation. He also questioned VeryDarkMan’s credibility, asking if he had the financial means to collaborate with him.

In a statement, Portable said: “VeryDarkMan, stop mentioning my name. You have a habit of defaming people online, targeting everyone with grace. You claim I’ll be featured on your track, but do you even have ₦100M?”.
