Nigerian singer Portable has opened up about his recent experiences in police custody, his feud with Bobrisky, and the challenges he faces in the entertainment industry. In his latest interview on Echo Room, he dismissed claims about his mental instability, stating, “They said I am a crazy person. When I got to the government, I told them I am not crazy.” He also shared details about his time in Cell 4, revealing that he was offered leadership by the cell leader but declined, saying, “No, this is not my house.”

Portable recounted interactions with inmates, including those accused of serious crimes, and mentioned that some tried to involve him in prayers, which he refused, saying, “Our prayers cannot work together.” He also spoke about the harsh conditions in the cell, where new detainees were often beaten. However, he expressed relief that he avoided such treatment. He also addressed rumors about his character, emphasizing, “I have never taken a life.”

Beyond his police experience, Portable discussed his ongoing feud with Bobrisky, which reportedly started over a disagreement regarding a song collaboration. The dispute escalated into a public argument, but Portable expressed frustration over the situation, stating that he prefers to focus on his music rather than online conflicts. He also acknowledged the struggles of being in the spotlight, emphasizing the need to stay true to himself despite the pressures of fame.

Despite the controversies, Portable remains committed to his career and continues to push forward. He stated that while negativity surrounds him, his primary focus is creating music that resonates with his audience. His revelations offer a deeper look into his personal journey, shedding light on the challenges of navigating fame and staying resilient in the face of adversity.
