Nigerian singer Portable has ignited controversy with a recent video, where he launches a verbal attack on Davido and Asake for failing to secure Grammy Awards despite their nominations. In his signature style, Portable delivered a series of biting comments in his native language, implying that he refuses to be associated with failure.

Portable took specific aim at Asake’s fashion choice, ridiculing his army-inspired outfit at the Grammys, which he deemed ineffective in securing a win. He also subtly accused Davido of snubbing him.

In a bold declaration, Portable boasted that he will claim a Grammy Award before Davido and Asake, citing his hit tracks “Montana” and “Zazu” as proof of his global appeal. He even went as far as suggesting that Olamide or Skepta should include these songs in their Grammy submissions to guarantee a win.

Portable’s outburst has sparked a heated online debate, with fans divided between defending Davido and Asake, and criticizing Portable’s perceived arrogance and lack of humility.
