Nigerian billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has reacted to the widely circulated image of Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, shaking hands with U.S. President Donald Trump during a high-profile event in Qatar. Otedola described the moment as a historic meeting of power and wealth, emphasizing the significance of Dangote’s presence on the global stage.

The handshake took place during Trump’s visit to Doha, where he met with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and witnessed the signing of a record-breaking $96 billion aircraft deal between Qatar Airways and Boeing. Dangote, a key figure in African enterprise, was among the distinguished business leaders present, alongside Elon Musk and other global industry giants.

Taking to his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Otedola shared a photo of the interaction, captioning it: “The richest black man in the world shaking hands with the most powerful man in the world.” His post quickly gained traction, sparking discussions among Nigerians about the potential strategic implications of the meeting.
