President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Congratulates Senator Monday Okpebholo on Edo Governorship Victory

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo on his triumph in the Edo State governorship election.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, President Tinubu praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for conducting a peaceful and successful election.

The President urged Senator Okpebholo to view his victory as a call to service, rather than a reason to celebrate alone. He encouraged Okpebholo to reach out to his political opponents and unite the people of Edo State towards its development.

President Tinubu also acknowledged the tireless efforts of APC national leaders, Edo State leaders, and party governors in securing the victory.

With his victory, Senator Okpebholo is set to begin his term as governor, having been declared the winner by INEC on Sunday.
