President Bola Tinubu to Address Nigerians at 7 AM on Democracy Day

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will deliver a nationwide address at 7 AM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, as part of the Democracy Day celebrations.

The President’s speech will mark 26 years of uninterrupted democratic governance in Nigeria and is expected to highlight key national issues, ongoing reforms, and the administration’s vision for the country’s future.

Following the address, President Tinubu will attend a joint session of the National Assembly at noon, where discussions on Nigeria’s democratic progress and governance will take center stage.

Later in the day, a public lecture themed “Consolidating on the Gains of Nigeria’s Democracy: Necessity of Enduring Reforms” will be held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja, at 4 PM.
