In response to the devastating flooding disaster that struck Mokwa in Niger State, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the immediate release of N2 billion for reconstruction efforts and 20 truckloads of grains to provide relief to affected communities.

Vice President Kashim Shettima, who led a Federal Government delegation to assess the situation, conveyed President Tinubu’s heartfelt condolences and reassured residents that the government is committed to alleviating their suffering. The relief package aims to support displaced families, many of whom have lost their homes and livelihoods due to the disaster.
