President Donald J. Trump addressed global business leaders at the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum, celebrating a historic $600 billion investment commitment from Saudi Arabia into the United States. The announcement marks a significant milestone in U.S.-Saudi economic relations, reinforcing a shared vision for prosperity and innovation.
The investment commitment includes a $5 billion Energy Investment Fund and a $5 billion New Era Aerospace and Defense Technology Fund, aimed at advancing cutting-edge industries in both nations. Additionally, Saudi Arabia has agreed to purchase approximately $142 billion in advanced warfighting equipment from U.S. defense firms, further strengthening security cooperation.
Speaking at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, President Trump emphasized the transformative impact of the investment, which spans artificial intelligence, aerospace, energy infrastructure, defense, and healthcare. “We’ve launched the Golden Age,” Trump declared. “Trillions of dollars are pouring in, and together, we will succeed.”
During the forum, President Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman signed a strategic economic partnership agreement, cementing collaborations in energy, mineral resources, defense, justice, space, and healthcare. The agreement underscores the administration’s commitment to fostering economic growth and job creation in the United States.
