PSG defeated Girona 1-0 on Wednesday, as summer signings Willian Pacho and Desire Doue made their Champions League debuts.

Pacho, 22, and Doue, 19, had differing performances.

Pacho started on PSG’s left defense, showcasing solidity despite a minor late-game error. He had 119 touches, 74 in the first half. Post-match, he shared:

“Playing in the Champions League is a dream come true… I’m here to help the team.”

Doue replaced Bradley Barcola in the 63rd minute but struggled, missing easy crosses and displaying individualistic tendencies. L’Equipe criticized his display as “worrying.” However, manager Luis Enrique appears to retain faith in Doue.

The win keeps PSG’s momentum going, with Pacho and Doue gaining valuable Champions League experience.
