PSG Knock Liverpool Out on Penalties to Reach Champions League Quarter-Finals

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) secured a place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals after defeating Liverpool in a dramatic penalty shootout.

The second-leg match at Anfield ended 1-0 in PSG’s favor, with Ousmane Dembélé scoring in the 12th minute to level the aggregate score at 1-1.

With neither side able to find a winner in extra time, the match was decided by penalties, where PSG triumphed 4-1. Gianluigi Donnarumma made crucial saves, while Liverpool’s Darwin Núñez and Curtis Jones missed their spot-kicks, sealing PSG’s progression.
