Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) made history on Saturday night by claiming their first UEFA Champions League title with a resounding 5–0 victory over Inter Milan at the Allianz Arena in Munich.
The French giants dominated the match from start to finish, with 19-year-old midfielder Désiré Doué delivering a sensational performance. Doué was involved in the first three goals—setting up Achraf Hakimi for the opener in the 12th minute, scoring a deflected strike in the 20th minute, and adding a third in the 63rd minute. His brilliance made him the youngest player to both score and assist in a Champions League final.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added a fourth for PSG in the 73rd minute, while teenage substitute Senny Mayulu completed the rout with a late goal in the 87th minute. The win not only gave PSG their first Champions League trophy but also completed a historic treble for the club, having already secured the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France titles this season.
Manager Luis Enrique, who previously won the Champions League with Barcelona, now joins the elite list of coaches to win the tournament with two different clubs. The result also marks the biggest winning margin in a Champions League final, underlining PSG’s dominance and rise to the top of European football.
