Rapper G$ Lil Ronnie and 5-Year-Old Daughter Shot Dead in Texas

Fort Worth-based rapper Ronnie “G$ Lil Ronnie” Smith was tragically shot and killed on March 3, 2025, at a car wash in Forest Hill, Texas. His 5-year-old daughter, who had recently celebrated her birthday, was also killed in the attack.

The shooting occurred at Slappy’s Express Car Wash on Forest Hill Drive. Witnesses reported that two men approached Smith’s vehicle and opened fire before fleeing in a four-door Kia. Despite efforts by emergency responders, both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have identified a suspect and issued an arrest warrant, but the individual’s name has not been released publicly. The investigation is ongoing as police continue searching for those involved.

G$ Lil Ronnie was a well-known figure in the North Texas rap scene, recognized for songs like Red Roses and Wops. He had a strong online following, with around 40,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and a significant social media presence.
