Real Madrid secured their 36th La Liga title following Barcelona’s 4-2 loss to Girona

Carlo Ancelotti’s side achieved a decisive 3-0 victory over Cadiz, placing pressure on Barcelona to win at Estadi Montilivi.

Despite leading 2-1 at halftime, Barcelona conceded three goals in the second half, sealing Real Madrid’s dominance with four remaining matches.

Real Madrid has experienced only one league defeat this season and has the potential to conclude with 99 points, their second-highest total in history.

This marks Ancelotti’s second La Liga title as Real Madrid’s coach, having previously won in 2021-22.

Real Madrid has now surpassed Barcelona’s 27 titles by nine.

As 14-time European Cup winners, Real Madrid will face Bayern Munich at the Bernabeu on Wednesday in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final, following a 2-2 draw at the Allianz Arena ⁷.
