Afrobeats hitmaker REMA has began the year with the release of two new singles – “Holiday and Reason You” much to the delight of his fans all over the world and available to stream/download on all digital platforms.

A follow up to his widely accepted debut project –‘Rave & Roses’ which top the charts in 2022, the first of his new solo work ‘Holiday’ which is accompanied by an appealing visual, reflects his humble beginnings and journey through the music industry which was greeted by plenty doubts, but now tells a different story with his endless success and acceptance.
“I will never forget the time wey bad belle them cast us away, Fast forward to today, Everyday na holiday-ayy, ayy, ayy, Everyday say na holiday” enthused REMA in the chorus.
In his second single ‘Reason You’ which is co-produced by Alex Rustig, 80Root and LNKmusic, REMA serves us with a banger-ballad anthem which captivates the heart of the listener with a dedicated request to the one who is stealing his attention.
Recall that in January, REMA set a new Youtube record, with his viral single, ‘Calm Down’ currently viewed 380 million times becoming the most viewed Afrobeats video on the visual streaming platform surpassing Ckay’s ‘Love Nwantiti Remix’, record of 355 million views.
Rema’s accomplishment has been driven by the song’s ubiquitous acceptance around the world and a Selena Gomez-assisted remix, which is now sitting on 301 million YouTube views. ‘Calm Down’ was also certified diamond in France and gold in the US, while becoming the first track to lead the newly established singles chart of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) for the Middle East and North Africa.
