Ruger, recently shared a heartfelt testimony about his spiritual experience at the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) in Lagos, his childhood place of worship.
The Asiwaju crooner attended the church’s crossover service this year, a tradition he had missed for the past two years due to being abroad. Determined to participate, Ruger instructed his manager to cancel any shows that could conflict with the service.
During the service, Ruger revealed that he experienced a deep emotional breakthrough, shedding tears for the first time in four years as he felt Godâs presence.
âToday, I am so happy to be here,â he shared. âMy manager told me I had a show tonight, but I said to cancel it. Iâve missed this service for two years, and I wasnât going to miss it again.â
Expressing his gratitude, Ruger thanked God, the congregation, and the church leadership for their role in his spiritual and personal growth. âI thank God for my life and everyone who has nurtured me since I started in this church. This is a very caring church,â he said.
