Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has reassured taxpayers that their contributions will be used for impactful projects aimed at fostering economic growth and improving residents’ quality of life.

Sanwo-Olu made this pledge while inaugurating the second phase of the upgraded and rehabilitated road network in Eti-Osa Local Government Area. He emphasized his administration’s commitment to transforming Lagos into a productive and globally competitive state.

“Transportation infrastructure is the backbone of any thriving economy,” the governor said. “In Lagos, we understand that every aspect of our social and economic life depends on an efficient, reliable, and sustainable transportation network.”

Sanwo-Olu highlighted his vision for a “Greater Lagos,” focusing on building a state that is safe, clean, and prosperous. He noted that traffic congestion and flooding were key challenges his administration prioritized under the THEMES+ Agenda, which places transportation and traffic management at the forefront.

“Our goal is to enhance mobility, drive economic growth, and improve productivity by providing world-class road infrastructure,” he added, reaffirming his dedication to creating opportunities and improving the quality of life for all Lagosians.
