Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Funke Akindele, on the box office success of her latest movie, “A Tribe Called Judah.”
Beesreign Media had reported that the movie broke the Nigerian box office record within 21 days of its release in cinemas to become the first Nollywood film to gross N1 billion.
And reacting to the feat, Sanwo-Olu in a post on X, said the success highlights the significant role women play in the film industry, and also celebrated the cast for their efforts.
