Senate Declares Okpebholo’s Senatorial Seat Vacant

The Senate on Wednesday declared the seat of Edo Central Senatorial District vacant following the election and inauguration of Monday Okpebholo as Edo State Governor in November.

The red chamber urged the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a bye-election to fill the vacancy.
