Kunmie, the singer behind the hit song Arike, has revealed that the studio where he recorded the track has been destroyed in a fire.

The artist took to social media to share the heartbreaking news, posting images of the burnt studio. Expressing his shock and sadness, he disclosed that he had been there just four days before the incident.

He wrote:

“News just got to me that the studio where I recorded Arike just got burnt.

I literally was in this studio four days ago and now it’s burnt down to shreds, a place I feel the most at home.

I really don’t know how to feel because I was numb for a few seconds when I was told.

Thank God for life.”

Fans and fellow musicians have since flooded his page with messages of support and condolences. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
