Sonia Adesuwa, the former wife of Nigerian footballer Jude Ighalo, has responded to online speculation regarding a potential reconciliation with her ex-husband.

This comes after she posted a message on Instagram praising Ighalo’s kind gesture and offering advice to women on choosing a life partner.

Some social media users interpreted Sonia’s post as a sign that she was seeking to rekindle her relationship with Ighalo, following their highly publicized split.

However, Sonia has since clarified her intentions in a subsequent post, stating that her praise for Ighalo was solely due to his role as the father of her children.

In her response, Sonia emphasized that her decision to end the marriage was a personal choice, driven by her desire for peace and her recognition that “two Queens cannot coexist on the same ship.”

She also addressed online critics, dismissing the notion that her post was a veiled attempt to reconcile with Ighalo.
