Mukaila Lamidi, also known as Auxiliary, the former chairman of the Park Management System (PMS) in Oyo State, has been arrested by the State Security Service (SSS) in Ibadan.

The reason for his arrest is not yet clear, but it may be related to comments he made in a recent YouTube interview, in which he made allusions to Governor Seyi Makinde and other high-ranking government officials.

Despite efforts to seek clarification from government representatives, including the Special Adviser on Security Matters, Fatai Owoseni, no further information has been provided.

This is not Lamidi’s first arrest, as he was previously detained in 2014 by the administration of late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, jailed in 2016, and later released in 2018 towards the end of Ajimobi’s term.
