On Sunday, Tallahassee native T-Pain received a grand tribute in his hometown, solidifying his legacy as a music icon.

Mayor John Dailey presented T-Pain with the Key to the City, recognizing his profound impact on music and dedication to the community.

This ceremony preceded T-Pain’s performance at Cascades Park, where Pasco Street was officially renamed “T-Pain Lane” in his honor.

Mayor Dailey expressed gratitude on X:

“Today, I honored @TPain with the Key to the City for his musical contributions & community commitment. As a hometown hero, T-Pain inspires globally. We’re proud to call him our own. Introducing ‘T-Pain Lane’! Thank you, T-Pain, for making us #TallahasseeProud!”
