Tasha has vehemently defended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who was suspended for six months after accusing Senate President Godswill Akpabio of sexual harassment.

In a passionate video on her Instagram page, Tasha condemned the suspension and highlighted the gravity of the allegations.

Tasha emphasized the implications of silencing women and questioned the lack of representation and empowerment of women in Nigeria’s political institutions.

She noted that out of 109 senators, only four are women, underscoring the severe underrepresentation of women in the Senate.

The suspension has sparked widespread outrage, with many women’s rights groups condemning the move.

Tacha, another prominent figure, reacted emotionally to the video, questioning the rights of women in Nigeria. “It’s crazy. It sounds like it is a crime to be a woman. See what this woman is going through for literally speaking up, it’s crazy,” she said.
