Teni Opens Up About Her Malaria Ordeal and Performs Despite Illness

Nigerian singer Teni has shared a candid video detailing her two-week battle with malaria. Despite feeling weak and losing her appetite, Teni showed her resilience by performing at a show in Ondo.

In the video, Teni jokingly called out Oba Saheed Elegushi to address the mosquito infestation in Ikate, which she blamed for her illness. She also emphasized the importance of health, saying “money cannot buy you health o, na God.”

Teni’s determination to perform despite her illness was motivated by her commitment to her fans and her finances.

She humorously stated that she couldn’t refund the money she had been paid, and that she had to push through her illness to deliver a great performance.
