Music video director TG Omori has defended TikTok influencer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, after he faced criticism for advising users to stop the viral 30 Days Rant Challenge.

The challenge, where Nigerians voice their frustrations over economic hardships for 30 days, has gained widespread attention. Peller warned that it could offend the government and potentially lead to TikTok being banned in Nigeria. He urged participants to move their protests to Instagram or physical locations instead.

His statement drew mixed reactions, with some agreeing with his concerns while others accused him of prioritizing TikTok over the struggles of everyday Nigerians. One user on X (formerly Twitter) posted, “I hate this guy called Peller.”

In response, TG Omori defended Peller, replying, “Hate is a strong word, He’s just a boy.”
