Nigerian netizens are celebrating the release of popular TikTok influencer Nicki DaBarbie on bail, after she spent over a week in jail.

Nicki DaBarbie had made headlines by accusing music stars Skibii and Mayorkun of drugging her and attempting to use her for rituals.

The accusations sparked mixed reactions, with some believing her claims and others dismissing them.

Skibii, who had been in a “talking stage” with Nicki DaBarbie, took legal action against her, charging her with property damage.

However, following support from VeryDarkMan, she was granted bail and released pending a court case.

Mayorkun, who has denied ever meeting Nicki DaBarbie, has vowed to take legal action against her once Skibii’s case is concluded.

He expressed disappointment at the quick belief in false accusations for attention, without considering the impact on his career.

Despite Nicki DaBarbie’s current imprisonment on unrelated charges, Mayorkun intends to pursue legal action to clear his name.
