Security agents have arrested Seaking, a popular Nigerian TikToker, hours after he released a video criticizing President Bola Tinubu, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
The video, shared on Saturday, December 20, expressed Seaking’s outrage over a statement by Police Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi, who announced plans to arrest individuals insulting government officials.
Seaking questioned the police’s priorities, arguing that their focus should be on tackling crime rather than targeting critics.
In footage circulating online, the TikToker appeared somber as security agents interrogated him.
