Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has voiced his concerns about the music industry’s lack of support for Nollywood. Despite Nollywood actors consistently showing enthusiasm for music industry counterparts, Egbuson notes that the energy is not reciprocated.

Egbuson’s comments come as his latest film, Reel Love, gains momentum. The romantic drama premiered on Valentine’s Day and earned N40.5 million on its opening day.

On the issue, Egbuson stated, “Really wish musicians supported Nollywood the way we support their music but that’s a conversation for another day.”
