President Bola Tinubu has assured Nigerian youth of his full support, emphasizing his administration’s commitment to creating opportunities for their growth and national development.
Speaking at the inauguration of the National Youth Conference planning committee on Monday, March 10, 2025, in Abuja, Tinubu declared, “I am with you! This was my message today to the heart of our nation—our youth—as I inaugurated the National Youth Conference planning committee.”
He reassured young Nigerians of his dedication to improving their future, stressing that his government is focused on making the country a better place for them. “I will do everything to make Nigeria a better place for young people and all Nigerians,” Tinubu stated.
The president acknowledged the challenges facing the nation, including economic difficulties and migration concerns among young professionals. However, he expressed optimism about ongoing improvements, noting that economic indicators are beginning to show positive signs.
“When we started, it was like drawing water from a dry well. But today, the economy is turning the corner. Prices are falling, confidence in our economy is improving, and investors are looking in,” he said.
Tinubu also urged young Nigerians to take advantage of advancements in technology and economic reforms, assuring them that his administration is working to create an environment where they can thrive. “This is your home to develop, build, and be prosperous,” he told his audience, adding that political leadership should focus on the well-being of future generations.
His remarks at the event further reinforced his administration’s vision for youth empowerment, innovation, and national progress.
