The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has conveyed heartfelt appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for his timely intervention in the health crisis faced by Nollywood Actor, Zack Orji, who recently travelled to the United Kingdom for a post-surgery assessment.

Dr. Emeka Rollas, the National President of AGN, conveyed this commendation in an official statement released on Saturday, March 30, 2024.

Rollas specifically lauded the compassionate support rendered by the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, whose motherly care greatly contributed to the veteran actor’s recovery journey. Additionally, the unwavering assistance provided by Seyi Tinubu, the President’s son, was acknowledged with gratitude.

“We have witnessed President Tinubu’s unparalleled commitment to the creative industry, demonstrating his determination to elevate the sector for the benefit of practitioners and the national economy. It is only fitting that we express our sincere appreciation to him,” Rollas stated.

The statement also extended appreciation to the Minister for Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, for her tireless efforts in ensuring Zack Orji‘s swift recuperation.

Zack Orji, deeply moved by the outpouring of support, expressed profound gratitude to his longtime friend, Ahmed Bala, for steadfastly standing by him throughout the challenging period.
