Tiwa Savage’s “Water and Garri” to Stream on Prime Video in 2024

Nigerian Music star Tiwa Savage has announced that her first feature film “Water and Garri” will begin streaming this year on the global streaming giant Amazon Prime Video.

Tiwa Savage in a post on Instagram, said the move had “been over two years in the making and is probably one of the most adventurous, fulfilling things I’ve done”.

Directed and edited by Meji Alabi, Water and Garri is a film about Aisha (Tiwa Savage), an ambitious fashion designer who returns home after a decade of working in the elite fashion industry in the United States.

The name of the movie Water and Garri comes from an EP released by Tiwa in 2021.
