Fast-rising Nigerian artist and comedian Tolibian is celebrating a major career breakthrough after Afrobeats superstar Wizkid shared the cover of his song Ramadan on his Instagram story.

The unexpected endorsement has sent waves of excitement through Tolibian’s fanbase and the music industry.

Reacting to the recognition, Tolibian took to social media to express his excitement, writing: “MACHALA TI POST MI! Link in bio to download ‘Ramadan’.” The phrase, which translates to “Machala has posted me!”, reflects his admiration for Wizkid, who is widely referred to as Machala by fans.

Originally released in April 2024, Ramadan gained significant traction, especially during the 2025 fasting season, thanks to its relatable and humorous take on the daily struggles of observing Ramadan. The song has resonated with a broad audience, drawing attention from key industry figures.

Wizkid’s endorsement is not the first major recognition for Ramadan. Earlier, Mavin Records’ boss Don Jazzy and popular actor Charles Okocha had also shared videos vibing to the song, helping to amplify its viral status.
