U.S. President Donald Trump has strongly criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin, calling him “absolutely crazy” in response to Russia’s largest aerial assault on Ukraine since the war began. The attack, which involved 367 drones and missiles, has resulted in the loss of civilian lives, deepening global concerns over escalating aggression in the region.

Trump, who has previously spoken about his willingness to mediate peace, emphasized his belief that Putin’s military strategy could lead to Russia’s downfall. He also commented on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s handling of the conflict, asserting that certain statements from the Ukrainian leader were complicating diplomatic efforts.

The attack has drawn widespread condemnation from international leaders, with Ukraine’s air force reporting that 355 drones and nine cruise missiles were launched overnight. Ukrainian officials continue to urge stronger global pressure to deter further hostilities.
