Nigerian talent manager and entrepreneur, Ubi Franklin, has addressed public criticism following his recent high-profile meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other influential figures in Abuja.

Franklin, who has faced backlash online for his participation in the meeting, took to social media to defend his decision, emphasizing that he would not hesitate to engage with key leaders again if given the opportunity. He pointed out the irony of his critics, stating that many would eagerly meet with their local government officials, let alone the President.

In his statement, Franklin reaffirmed his political stance, openly acknowledging his membership in the All Progressives Congress (APC). He dismissed the negativity surrounding his visit, stating that he has endured public scrutiny for years and remains unfazed by the criticism.

The meeting, which included music star Davido and socialite Cubana Chief Priest, sparked widespread discussion online. While Franklin defended his position, Cubana Chief Priest also faced scrutiny for his respectful gesture of kneeling to greet Vice President Kashim Shettima.
