Music manager Ubi Franklin has responded to singer Spyro’s recent accusation, revealing that he is withholding a $5,000 payment due to an outstanding debt. According to Ubi Franklin, Spyro owes him a 10% commission from a N105 million car deal he facilitated.

In a video statement, Ubi Franklin explained that Spyro purchased the car through his connections, and as a result, he is entitled to a N10.5 million commission. However, Spyro has yet to pay this amount, prompting Ubi Franklin to hold back the $5,000 payment.

Ubi Franklin emphasized that he operates based on agreements and expects others to do the same. He stated that he will not tolerate any attempts to tarnish his reputation and demanded that Spyro settle the outstanding debt.

Calculating the debt, Ubi Franklin revealed that Spyro owes him N2.5 million more than the $5,000 payment. He urged Spyro to prioritize honoring their agreement and paying the owed commission.

The public dispute between Ubi Franklin and Spyro highlights the complexities of business deals in the entertainment industry. It underscores the importance of honoring agreements, paying commissions, and maintaining professionalism in business transactions.
