The United States men’s basketball team emerged victorious at the 2024 Paris Olympics, capturing the gold medal with a 98-87 win over France in the championship game.

Led by the exceptional performance of LeBron James, who was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, the team showcased their skill and determination to secure the top spot on the podium.

Stephen Curry played a crucial role in the team’s success, scoring 24 points, including four three-pointers in the final two minutes of the game. His precision shooting helped seal the victory for the Americans.

Despite a strong effort from France’s Victor Wembanyama, who scored 26 points, the US team’s collective effort and talent proved too much for their opponents. Kevin Durant added 15 points to the scoreboard, earning his fourth Olympic gold medal in the process.

The championship game took place on August 10, 2024, at the Bercy Arena in Paris, France, marking a triumphant conclusion to the team’s Olympic journey.
