VeryDarkMan Defends 2Baba, Criticizes Toke Makinwa Over Divorce Remarks

VeryDarkMan has publicly defended 2Baba amid the backlash following the announcement of his divorce. He criticized Toke Makinwa for her comments, which he described as an attack on the artist.

Toke had called out 2Baba for discussing his marital issues publicly, labeling the move insensitive and a display of poor judgment.

In response, VeryDarkMan argued that Toke and other “concerned female voices” were being unfair in their judgment, ignoring the complexities of the marriage. He suggested that both 2Baba and Annie Idibia shared responsibility for the relationship’s breakdown.

He also pointed out what he termed double standards in the criticism, stating that Annie had overlooked red flags and was “obsessed” with 2Baba from the start.

In a video captioned, “Dear Toke Makinwa and other women, leave 2face alone. No be by force. Why the double standards? For me, both of them were never meant for each other. Annie ignored all red flags. Anty was obsessed,” he maintained his stance on the matter.
