A recent allegation by controversial critic Verydarkman has sparked outrage, accusing the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of extorting money from celebrities DJ Tunez and Terry Apala.

According to Verydarkman, the EFCC summoned the two celebrities, confiscating their phones upon arrival. They were then allegedly coerced into paying $5,000 to $6,000 after being shown a compromising clip.

Verydarkman’s allegations suggest a disturbing pattern of corruption within the EFCC, with officials exploiting their power to target vulnerable individuals, including celebrities.

The critic’s statement emphasized the severity of the issue: “EFCC are very corrupt… a lot of them take advantage of their office to exploit young individuals and now, moving fast to start exploiting some celebrities.”

The EFCC has yet to respond to these allegations, which have raised concerns about the organization’s integrity and its treatment of celebrities and ordinary citizens.
