Popular Nigerian social commentator and activist, Verydarkman, has ignited a national conversation with a bold public challenge: he is offering a ₦2 million reward to anyone who can provide verifiable evidence that any Imam in Nigeria owns or uses a private jet.

In a statement made across his social media platforms, Verydarkman questioned the often-criticized lavish lifestyles of some religious figures, contrasting the lives of Muslim clerics with certain Christian pastors in Nigeria. He claimed that while some Christian leaders have been known to acquire private jets, he has yet to see any Imam live such an opulent lifestyle.

“Bring me one Imam in Nigeria who owns a private jet—just one—and I’ll give you ₦2 million cash. I’m not here to shame anyone, but we must be real about who is truly practicing humility and service,” said Verydarkman in a video that has since gone viral.

Despite the backlash, Verydarkman insists that his offer is a call for accountability and transparency, not a religious attack. “This is not about Islam or Christianity—it’s about truth. If we’re going to talk about moral leadership, then we must be ready to ask hard questions,” he added.
