Udu recounted a difficult period when his platform faced public criticism, which led to lost business opportunities and a damaged reputation. Hoping to clear the air, his manager suggested he appear on The Honest Bunch podcast. However, Udu alleged that during a phone conversation, Nedu dismissed his work, claimed he was unfamiliar with his content, and belittled his platform’s impact. According to Udu, Nedu told him to “humble” himself and fly to Lagos immediately to appear on the podcast alongside his critic, an offer Udu refused. He explained that accepting would have legitimized negative behavior and undermined his platform’s integrity.

Udu revealed that the interaction deeply affected his self-esteem and led to significant professional setbacks. He claimed that the controversy surrounding his brand forced him to let go of 10 employees due to declining business opportunities.

This latest revelation follows allegations by VDM that content creator JoJo had an inappropriate relationship with Nedu in exchange for career opportunities. JoJo has since denied the claims, asserting that her success is the result of her hard work and consistency, with no involvement from Nedu. She also expressed frustration over attempts to discredit her achievements.

In response to these allegations, VDM has vowed to expose more details about Nedu’s alleged misconduct if necessary. He has accused Nedu of using The Honest Bunch podcast to promote sensationalism rather than meaningful discussions.
