Popular social media activist and influencer, Vincent Otse, known widely as VeryDarkMan, visited Yelewata in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State on Sunday to witness firsthand the aftermath of the recent massacre that reportedly claimed the lives of about 200 people.

The victims, many of them internally displaced persons taking refuge in a Catholic mission, were attacked in what residents described as a night of terror and destruction. Homes were burnt, food stores were razed, and entire families were wiped out.

Deeply shaken by the devastation, VeryDarkMan was seen breaking down in tears as he moved through the ruins of the community. In videos shared on his social media pages, he showed graphic scenes of the destruction burnt shelters, shattered belongings, and grieving survivors trying to make sense of the tragedy.
