Veteran Actress Ethel Ekpe dies of Cancer

Veteran actress, Ethel Ekpe, has died after battling cancer.

The late actress, who played the role of ‘Segi’ in the defunct sitcom ‘Basi and Company’ on the Nigerian Television Authority, died in Lagos State.

In a post on X, the Director-General of the National Film and Video Censors Board, Shaibu Husseini, said the late actress will be “sorely missed”.

The late Ethel Ekpe was also featured in Amaka Igwe’s ‘Forever’ and the ‘Sons of the Caliphate’.
