A viral video has shown the suspended Governor of the Central Bank, Godwin Emefiele hiding his face from the cameras during today’s court hearing at the FCT High Court.
Beesreign Media had reported that the FCT High Court adjourned the 6.9 billion naira procurement fraud case leveled against Emefiele till August 23, due to the absence of 2 defendants.
In the video clip, Emefiele could be seen dodging journalists who had already surrounded him while he received a call in the witness box. After his call, Emefiele attempted to exit the courtroom with his head bowed but was advised against this by his lawyers who escorted him out.
