‘We Will Win AFCON For Them’, Ahmed Musa says as Super Eagles Pay Tribute to Deceased Fans

The Super Eagles have paid tribute to the fans who died while watching Wednesday’s Cup of Nations semi-final match against South Africa

In a video shared on X, the Super Eagles had a minute silence for the 4 Nigerians who died at home while watching the semifinal and also held prayers.

Captain Ahmed Musa said, “Yesterday we lost four good Nigerians because of the game and hold a minute silence ….they need our support right now and Insha Allah on Sunday we are going to lift that trophy for them”.

The Super Eagles in a post on X, prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed.
