Nigerian music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has publicly criticized the Osun State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Umar Abba, over an unspecified issue.

Taking to his social media platforms on Monday, February 17, 2025, Davido expressed his frustration, calling on the police chief to uphold the rule of law. In a mix of English and Pidgin, he wrote:

“Mr Commissioner, respect the rule of law!!! You are not madder or crazier than us!! Make we all kuru mad!! MEN MOUNT WALAI TO KRF!!! I will post you every day everywhere, Mr man!!! Try me, fucker.”

While the specific reason behind Davido’s outburst remains unclear, his post suggests strong dissatisfaction with a legal or security matter. As a native of Osun State and a member of the influential Adeleke family, he has often used his platform to address political and social issues affecting the state.

So far, CP Mohammed Umar Abba and the Osun State Police Command have not issued an official response. However, Davido’s remarks have sparked widespread discussion online, with fans and observers weighing in on the situation.
