“We’ve Recovered 78m” – VeryDarkMan Gives Update On Missing N180M NGO Funds And Cyber Attack Investigations

Nigerian activist and social commentator, VeryDarkMan, has provided a new update on the recovery of the missing N180 million allegedly stolen from NGO funds.

“We have been able to recover 78 million Naira from the 180 million Naira stolen from NGO funds,” he announced.

He revealed that the theft was an inside job, with information leaked to the perpetrators by someone within the team. To ensure justice, he disclosed plans to travel to Ghana to follow up on the case.

In addition, VeryDarkMan shared insights into a cyber attack targeting the NGO’s website, detailing the findings:

Highest Attack Activity:

On December 17th, 590 cyber attack attempts were traced to a U.S.-based IP address, likely masked by a VPN.

Other Attacking Locations:

IP addresses involved were also traced to Israel, Nigeria, Singapore, and Moldova.

Attack Objectives:

1. Disruption of website services to cause chaos.

2. Unauthorized access to financial data to exploit banking credentials.

3. Denial of Service (DoS) to disrupt legitimate user access.

VeryDarkMan assured supporters that necessary actions are being taken to secure the website and prevent further incidents.
