Instant messaging app WhatsApp has rolled out its new Channels feature to 150 countries.

The app announced on Wednesday that it was expanding the one-to-many broadcasting feature to more users, after some months of testing. WhatsApp had first introduced Channels in June, but it was only available to select organizations in Colombia and Singapore.

And just like on the messaging app Telegram, WhatsApp’s Channels feature allows users receive updates from creators, organizations, and brands. Instagram, an app also owned by WhatsApp parent company Meta, had rolled out a similar feature earlier this year called broadcast channels.
