Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has pledged that criminals will face no refuge in the nation’s capital this December.

Wike made the statement in Abuja during the inauguration of a 15-kilometre road project linking Abuja to Lokoja Expressway (A2) and Pai in the Kwali Area Council.

He revealed that additional operational vehicles would be provided to security agencies to strengthen crime-fighting efforts during the festive season.

The Minister vowed to ensure that criminals would be dealt with and would have no place to hide.

Wike also commended the security agencies for their continued efforts to enhance safety in the city centre and surrounding area councils.

He said, “This will ensure that criminals will not have any breathing space in the FCT this December. We will make sure they have nowhere to hide. So, I thank you for the job you are doing.”
