In a heartwarming display of reconciliation, Nigerian music sensations Wizkid and Reekado Banks were spotted sharing a meal together at a Lagos eatery, joined by rapper Shallipopi.

The warm atmosphere between the two musicians suggests they’ve finally buried the hatchet, four years after their highly publicized disagreement. The rift began in 2020 when Wizkid criticized Reekado Banks for promoting their collaborative single during the End SARS protests, labeling him a “clout animal.”

Although the song was eventually released without Wizkid’s verse, it appears the two have now put their differences aside. Fans are eagerly hoping this newfound understanding will lead to a long-awaited collaboration.

Wizkid has been soaking up the Nigerian atmosphere since December 2024, delivering electrifying performances at various shows during the festive season. Fresh from the success of his sixth studio album, ‘Morayo,’ the Grammy-winning singer is set for a hectic 2025, with the announcement of his ‘Morayo’ tour already generating buzz.
