Wizkid drops snippets of Morayo album

Grammy award-winning singer, Ayodeji Balogun, widely known as Wizkid has finally released a snippet from his much anticipated album “Morayo”.

In a recent Instagram post, big Wiz dropped an insight of what his fans should expect from his album.

The single “Piece Of My Heart” has had fans and music lovers on their feet dancing and grooving to its crisp beats. The song features Brent Faiyaz and has an up-tempo record with heavy Carribean, R&B, Afro-Pop, and Dancehall influences.

The international celebrity talked about his relationship and his new album during the just finished Louis Vuitton show, which was helmed by American singer Pharrell Williams, according to a previous article by Esquire UK.

The popular artist Wizkid, whose hits include “Essence” revealed that his next album is named Morayo in honor of his mother. “Very, very personal,” is how the musician described the unpublished album.

He said:

“I hope it lifts spirits and spreads positive energy.”
